Things parents usually ask

Is this just another screen addiction for my child?
Sharp is intentionally designed to be the opposite. There are no social features, no notifications, no infinite scroll, no rewards that keep pulling students back in. The app opens, students read their chapter, and they close it. That's it. The goal is to spend less time on the phone, not more.
Does speed reading actually help with retention?
RSVP technology specifically reduces subvocalization — the habit of mentally "saying" words as you read — which is the main bottleneck for most readers. Studies show that controlled speed reading, particularly for revision of already-familiar material, maintains comprehension while significantly increasing speed. Sharp is best used for revision, not first-time learning of complex concepts.
Which books are available? Are they the right ones for my child's exam?
Sharp includes all NCERT textbooks from Class 6 through 12, which are the primary source material for JEE and NEET. For UPSC, standard static GS texts are included. For CA, ICAI study material is pre-loaded. All books are organized by exam category so students see only what's relevant to them.
What if my child doesn't find it useful?
The 7-day free trial requires no credit card. Your child can use the full app for a week completely free. If it doesn't work for them, you simply don't subscribe. There's no charge, no cancellation needed.
Is ₹2,999 a one-time payment or recurring?
It's an annual subscription — ₹2,999 per year, which works out to roughly ₹250 per month or about ₹8 per day. You can cancel before renewal and you won't be charged again. We do not offer refunds for the current billing period.
Is my child's data safe?
Sharp collects only the minimum necessary data — name, phone number, email, and reading progress. We do not sell data to third parties, we do not serve ads, and we do not share information with anyone. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
